Logan “Columbus” Todd and the New World

After many hours in Dad’s truck with an odd orange and white box following closely behind I found myself in a strange New World. I have since dubbed this strange land “New House”. To this day Mom and Dad have insisted that I drop the “New”, however, I continue to resist.

This Land has many new and curious things to explore. One of the first things I discovered was the grand park that puts the park of my homeland to shame. Dad and I like to go there on a regular basis. As you can see he likes to think that he fits down the slide, I think the picture speaks for itself.

Here I am attempting to get to higher ground to better survey the surrounding area.

One of the new places I spend a lot of time at is the local establishment of higher education. I spend much of my day there during the week learning Newton’s laws. My favorite is for every push there is an equal and
opposite push (well sometimes I might push harder than the other kid, but he had it coming).

Another great place full of adventure in the land of “New House” is the Pond. The Pond has many strange winged (although rarely seen flying) creatures that waddle around. It seems that their only means of subsistence is to take bread from the local towns folk. I like feeding the creatures very much, however, I do find myself eating more bread than I distribute.

Last but not least is the “New House”. This place is the base of operations for all field expeditions. It seems to serve this function quite well (and there are lots of cool hiding places). The backyard is one of my favorite things

about the “New House”. It opens up to a native forest that has never before been explored by man. Soon I will add it to the claimed lands of “New House”.

Are you sure New House isn't New Castle? Sweet pad! Looks like it has room for another Todd in there...

You have to love Houston real estate (cheap). There is indeed a room waiting for another Todd. I think Liz has the next one all planned on a flow chart somewhere; I’m just waiting to get invited to the party.

Looks like Logan has a lot of space for exploring - inside and out.

Jay & Liz - What a place for Logan to have adventures! We knew you were going to take advantage of the first available opportunity to "process" yourself out of the Navy, but hadn't realized it had taken place.
Take care,
Vern & Gerri
