Luckily, as I write this we are safely past the 11th week and now into the 13th and it seems that we have made it past the first trimester fun. Not that I am keeping track or anything. Reviewing a website on what to expect in the first trimester I have discovered that I hit the jackpot.Lets see here
Morning sickness: Check
Although morning sickness is not the right term. I would like to change it to all day sickness.
Food cravings: Check
Hard to narrow down exactly, lets just say all.
A heightened sense of smell: Check
Everything now spoils at a highly accelerated rate that defies all laws of chemistry.
Fatigue: Check
One word, Narcolepsy
Frequent urination: Check
Is it possible to pee more fluid than you take in?
Acne: Check
Sorry honey
Headaches: Check
You can thank Liz for the recent rise of Johnson & Johnson stock (makers of Tylenol). Now’s the time to sell.
Emotional ups and downs: Check
From, yikes what just happened there to “honey come sit with me please”
And one that the website failed to mention.
Gas: Check
I didn't even know she could fart, and now well, I just make sure that no open flames are around
I believe that the quote that sums up the first trimester is “Utter and complete misery.”

Thank you! I think John was having more fun than the reality! He enjoys the exageration and the making fun since he does not have to deal with any of the fun stuff.
