Easter

Easter started at Logan’s school with an egg hunt. Here they are at the starting line.

And they're off

After round one of egg hunting we jumped in the car and drove to Corpus Christi to spend Easter with Liz’s parents. As you can see the excitement was too much for Logan to take.

When we got to Liz’s parents house Bryce immediately began the Grandchild initiation program which requires a nap with Grandpa, followed up by tickling, hugs and kiss until the pledge becomes unconscious. Just for reference Bryce is grandchild number 14 and so far all have survived the initiation process including 3 great grandchildren.

Round two, except this time it is Cascarones (confetti eggs for the unfamiliar). Here is Logan with some of his cousins before the fun begins. Note: Mom did have a nice white dress shirt on Logan at the beginning of the day. Needless to say white shirts and 4 year olds don’t mix.

This is Logan attempting to entertain his cousins, I hope.

Once all the eggs are found the real fun begins. All the kids chase each other and break the eggs over each others heads. Here I was requested to submit to an egg beating.
